Luan Cardoso dos Santos has a Master’s Degree in computer science, awarded by the State University of Campinas, in Brazil. He worked on the efficient implementation of authenticated encryption algorithms for IoT. He started his Ph.D. studies at the University of Luxembourg in July 2018, and continues working with authenticated encryption, and efficient implementation of AEAD. His main research topics are the optimization of cryptographic algorithms, cryptanalysis and benchmarking of these algorithms, currently being one of the maintainers of the FELICS framework.
